Entry conditions, requirements, and size limits
ENTRY FEE: $15 per painting
All items must be for sale, and details must be clearly labelled on the back with
the artist’s name,
address,
title of work,
section,
medium used,
and price.
 
Please download labels and attach to the back of each painting submitted.
 
Each entry must be the original work of the artist, suitably framed or mounted.
All entries must be ready to hang with hanging wire attached and loose enough to avoid damage while hanging.
All accepted entries are eligible for the Champion Prize.
Catalogue Entries will be hung. However, the Organisers reserve the right to reject any painting deemed unsuitable for hanging.
Oversized paintings (over 1m x 1m) will NOT be judged.
The Organisers reserve the right to have any entries reproduced in the Media. The Artist is responsible for ensuring that no relevant copyright laws are infringed.
 
Section 1a: OIL or ACRYLIC: Any Subject
Maximum size 1m² excluding frame. Limit of five paintings (one only maximum size)
 
Section 1b: OIL or ACRYLIC: Subject ‘Life on the Land’
Maximum size 1m² excluding frame. Limit of five paintings (one only maximum size)
 
Section 2: WATERCOLOUR: Any Subject
Maximum size 1m² excluding frame. Limit of five paintings (one only maximum size)
 
Section 3: ANY OTHER MEDIUM: Any Subject
Maximum size 1m² excluding frame. Limit of five paintings (one only maximum size)
 
Section 4: MINIATURE: Any Subject
Any Medium. Maximum size 40cm perimeter excluding frame. Frame should be proportionate to image and not exceed 122cm perimeter. Limit of five paintings.
 
Section 5: LOCAL ARTIST: Any Subject
Any Medium. Maximum size 1m² excluding frame. Limit of five paintings (one only maximum size). Artists residing within 100km of Currabubula or in the following postcode areas: 2353, 2338 to 2346, 2352, 2380 and 2381.
